As the President of the Lebanese Taekwondo Federation, I am honored to extend a warm welcome to all members of our vibrant community. At the heart of our federation lies a steadfast commitment to fostering values of integrity, discipline, and camaraderie. Despite facing formidable challenges, including the economic crisis, the global pandemic, and the tragic Beirut Port explosion, our unwavering vision and determination have propelled us forward. With an aim as bold as securing a medal at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, our achievements stand as a testament to our resilience and dedication. Despite the odds, we have not only qualified for the upcoming Games but have also amassed an impressive tally of 168 international medals, showcased the talents of 1710 participants across various championships, established 12 essential protocols, and orchestrated five immensely successful Beirut Open championships alongside two prestigious Asian Championships. Together, we continue to elevate the spirit of taekwondo, inspiring generations and shaping a brighter future for our sport and community.

Dr. Habib Zarifeh
President, Lebanese Taekwondo Federation
Dr. Habib Zarifeh is a Lebanese oral surgeon, implantologist, entrepreneur and sports leader. He serves as Head of Oral Surgery at Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC) in Beirut and holds a Master of Science in Laser Dentistry from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. He is the founder of Smile Infinity®️ Medical Centers, an international network operating across multiple countries.
Alongside his medical and entrepreneurial career, Dr. Zarifeh has dedicated more than three decades to Lebanese taekwondo as an athlete, national team captain, coach and sports administrator.
He has served as President of the Lebanese Taekwondo Federation since 2016, leading the federation through a period of significant international development and strengthening Lebanon’s presence in Asian, Olympic and world-level taekwondo.
In 2026, Dr. Zarifeh was inducted into the Taekwondo Hall of Fame in the United States in recognition of his lifetime contribution to the sport.
Through his work in medicine, entrepreneurship and sports leadership, Dr. Zarifeh continues to represent Lebanon nationally and internationally.
